Experience a quieter side of Northern Norway on a scenic fjord drive through the coastal landscapes surrounding Harstad.
This small-group excursion follows a carefully selected route through fjords, farmland and local communities, offering a glimpse into everyday life along the Arctic coast. Along the way, guests travel through landscapes shaped by fishing, farming and generations of coastal traditions.
The route includes a stop at Aunfjellet, where panoramic views open across the surrounding fjords, mountains and coastline. Weather permitting, there is time to step outside, enjoy the scenery and capture photographs before continuing towards Elgsnes.
The tour culminates at Elgsnes, a peaceful coastal location overlooking the sea towards Andøya. Here, guests spend approximately one hour by the shoreline with access to a traditional North Norwegian boathouse serving as a comfortable gathering place.
Enjoy refreshments, light snacks, fresh Arctic sea air and time to explore the beach, observe local birdlife or simply relax while taking in the coastal scenery.
The experience operates without a live guide. Instead, guests enjoy a location-based audio guide available in multiple languages, allowing them to explore the region at a comfortable pace while learning about the landscapes, communities and history of the area.
